Garcinia Cambogia For Weight Loss - Does It Really Work?

What is Garcinia Cambogia and would it really work for you for weight loss? Are the effects significant enough for you to really pay attention to all the hype? Well chances are it won't and here's why...

Another month and another hard to pronounce 'miracle' weight loss supplement that tries to give people hope, of some amazing weight loss results with little effort required...

What is this Garcinia Cambogia? Well until today, I haven't even heard of it, but decided to do a little research and find out what it really is and break it down for you in a simple manner, to determine whether or not it's worth getting your hopes up for...

Garcinia Cambogia is a tropical fruit, native to Indonesia, touted for it's miracle weight loss potential, by suppressing your appetite, increasing your metabolism and athletic performance.

Dr Oz has promoted it on his show and popularized it calling it 'revolutionary'... eventually going to court for making some ridiculous claims, that it works with 'no exercise', 'no diet' and 'no effort'...

Now that's marketing hype gone wrong.

It contains Hydroxycitic Acid (HCA) and is used in a variety of fat burning pills or as an extract which you can purchase online or in various health stores.

Now the problem lies in the fact that, the supplement industry is unregulated and HCA content will differ from product to product. This means that you never truly know the correct amounts that you're getting and how it would react with your body.

If you even attempt to take it, many sites recommend that you do some extensive research on different brands to find the correct amounts of HCA. And even after all that effort of research and investing into this product, your return on time and money spent will not be quite worth it...

I've never been a fan of any fancy supplements or diet pills and have never even attempted taking them, because I believe 80% of your weight loss lies in your diet and not in magic diet pills or hyped supplements...

There are some negligible effects, according to the scarce studies done on humans of taking Garcinia Cambogia, some of them include...

1. Small increases of your metabolized fat.

2. Increased athletic performance.

You can find the study done by clicking here.

There are simply not enough human studies showing any significant weight loss effects and the bigger problem is that the the side effects of taking it were 2X as severe as it's benefits...

Some of the side effects of Garcinia Cambogia include...

1. Headaches

2. Nausea

3. Stomach aches

Are these side effects really worth you losing an extra 1kg max (not even proven)?

Personally I would not even bother...

I would rather train harder at the gym, drop some more calories and lose the kg of weight in a healthy way, than to suffer annoying stomach aches and headaches which can throw me off my routine and slow my results.

Taking Garcinia Cambogia by itself with no exercise or a proper diet routine would not produce any weight loss for you... Make sure to check with your physician if you're really considering taking it.

Most of your weight loss will come from developing healthy eating habits, proper exercise regime and sleeping/recovering adequately.

By wasting your attention on magic diet pills and over hyped supplements that produce less than 5% results... You will drain your wallet and still not get the results you're after.

There is simply no substitute for hard work, dieting and training well.

Let's focus on developing healthy habits rather than wasting time on fad diet schemes and start losing the weight!
